Step 4. Send data to server GTM container

The next step is to send data from the web to the server Google Tag Manager. There are two popular methods: using GA4 or using Data Tag/Data Client. If you use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads, using GA4 as a data source for your sGTM container is the best fit for you. If you are not using GA4 or gAds, configuring Data Tag/Data Client will be your best option. 

In most cases, only one option for sending data from the web to server GTM is necessary.
