What is SOC 2 compliance?

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) developed SOC 2 to establish strict standards for managing customer data. It focuses on five key principles: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. The SOC 2 report shows how an organization manages its data and meets these standards.
