Facebook Conversions API Gateway. The easiest way to implement FB CAPI?

Facebook Conversion API Gateway is FB’s newest approach in setting up Conversion API and looks like it’s the easiest one. It is required to have Amazon AWS (only AWS for now) for hosting server events. FB CAPIG receives events from the browser and sends them to the Conversions API. With FB CAPIG, you won’t need to set up event deduplication, send user parameters and events from the server. Another huge advantage is having multiple domains/pixels within a single instance of Conversions API Gateway. Multiple pixels work only if they are located under the same Facebook Business Manager.

This data can then be used to create custom audiences, test out different versions of ads, or even provide insights into who might be interested in the product. The most popular way of integrating Facebook conversion API is using the Google Tag Manager server container. But there are other ways to do that: using Zapier, direct integration, integration with the CRM using webhooks, and much more.

Google tag manager server-side: How to set up server Tag Manager, Universal Analytics, GA4, and Facebook conversion API

Server-side tagging has been one of the main trends in web analytics for the last couple of years. Ad blockers, Intelligent Tracking Protection, 3rd party cookie restrictions, regulations like GDPR made analytics and advertising companies start worrying about how and what information they collect about site visitors.
