Connections feature

The Connections feature streamlines how you authenticate and manage integrations with third-party platforms directly from your sGTM container settings. Instead of manually creating apps, handling OAuth tokens, or juggling security credentials, you can log in via Connections. Stape then securely manages the OAuth tokens on your behalf, eliminating most of the technical overhead associated with these integrations.

Stape will handle all your oAuth tokens for:

• Microsoft Advertising.
• Google Sheets.
• Google Ads for Offline conversions.

The Connections feature is available for Pro server-side GTM subscriptions and higher.

How to use Connections

1. Log in to your stape.io account.

2. Select your sGTM container on the dashboard.

3. Open the Connections tab.

4. Click Sign in for the service you’d like to connect to.

5. Go through the service’s authorization process, e.g. use your Google account that has access to the Google Ads account you’re connecting to.

Testing the Connections feature

If you can see that the service’s interface shows that you’re authorized into your account, then the Connections feature is working properly.
